Academics is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Leek area (Stoke-on-Trent) for a full-time Science & Maths Teacher to join their team from Easter through to June. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, wants to make an impact, and is looking for a fixed-term role with clear dates and expectations.
The Role:
Deliver Maths and Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Fixed-term teaching position from Easter until June
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons to mixed-ability classes
Support pupils' progress and maintain a positive learning environment
Work as part of a supportive and collaborative department
Who We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Maths/Science - essential
Recent experience teaching Science and/or Maths across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for Maths & Science and student achievement/progress
Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic teaching approach
ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
