Save Share Apply now Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Chelmsford to recruit for Social Worker – Adults. This will be on a permanent basis paying £37,185 - £50,081 P/Annum.
Responsibilities include:
1. Case Load Management
2. Completing reviews and assessment
3. Working alongside other agencies
4. Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
5. Promoting service users choices, control and independence
6. Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
7. Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
8. Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
9. Working effectively with other professionals
10. Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
11. Safeguarding Adults
Minimum Requirements:
12. SWE Registration
13. 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
14. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
15. Eligibility to work in the UK
16. A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
