Skill set required:
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the company. This includes diagnosing and troubleshooting issues and maintaining, upgrading, and installing hardware and software.
1. Diagnose and resolve problems with hardware, software, or network connectivity.
2. Maintain, upgrade, and install hardware and software as needed.
3. Experience with advanced troubleshooting of both wireless and data networks (LAN/WAN). Network cabling & setup.
4. Good knowledge of Intune & Autopilot imaging process.
5. Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) client-side troubleshooting.
6. Good knowledge of Windows patching and troubleshooting.
7. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and troubleshooting, MFA.
8. Knowledge of antivirus tools like CrowdStrike.
9. Knowledge of BitLocker functionality.
10. Understanding of ITSM processes and SLA (Incident & Service Task).
11. Good knowledge of operating systems – installation & troubleshooting (Windows 10/11, Server – added advantage).
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Minimum of 5+ years' experience as an IT support engineer or in an equivalent role.
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
