Bealings School Address: Sandy Lane, Little Bealings, Woodbridge IP13 6LW Salary: £24,414 per annum, pro rata Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 7.45am - 9am and 3pm - 6.15pm, 38 weeks per year Contract: Permanent Reference: 8113 Bealings School are looking for an organised, motivated, and caring Wraparound Care Assistant to assist in the day-to-day running of the school’s wraparound care provision, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day. Your responsibilities Welcome and supervise children attending before- and after-school sessions. Support the delivery of engaging activities (arts, crafts, games, outdoor play, etc.) suitable for different ages and interests Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction in line with the school’s values and policies Help prepare and serve healthy snacks and drinks Ensure the wraparound care area is safe, tidy, and well-organised Assist with set-up and clearing away of resources and equipment Work collaboratively with other staff to support children’s wellbeing and enjoyment Maintain appropriate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues To administer first aid as necessary and report accidents according to school procedures. What you will need Essential: Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting A warm, caring, and patient manner with children An enthusiastic and proactive attitude Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility Good communication and teamwork skills Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
