Their customers include service providers (cable, broadband, telco, satellite), commercial verticals, small enterprises, and the people they serve. Job Role The Maintenance Technician is a key part of our North Wales team. This person will install, commission, maintain and repair a variety of Extrusion, Fibre termination Machines, associated plant and equipment to a professional standard and within prescribed times. Responsibilities for this role include: * Undertake Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records as applicable. * Carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of machinery and equipment breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times. * Undertake machinery / equipment repairs both mechanical and electrical. * Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO 9000standards. * Contacting and liaising with machinery and equipment suppliers in respect of spares requirements, progress work in hand and planning of Service Engineer visits. * Be available as a go-to person for operational, and machinery related requests * Be involved in continuous improvement and investment projects Preferred Experience * Experience in Maintenance Technician/Engineering field. * Practical working experience in a maintenance environment using both Mechanical and Electrical skills. Hours Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern to include mornings, afternoons and nights. Temporary with a view to become permanent for the right candidate.
