Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide comprehensive IT support to the full business. Within this role, you will coordinate the delivery of first and second line support services for the business and play a key role in shaping how Drummond Miller deploys, manages and supports end users IT equipment.

Within this role, you will coordinate the delivery of first and second line support services for the business and play a key role in shaping how Drummond Miller deploys, manages and supports end users IT equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT and a drive to deliver a customer focused service. The IT Technician will be familiar in acting as a technical expert and escalation point to others and will be comfortable offering advice, guidance and instruction to colleagues.
This role is perfect for IT generalists with the following skills and knowledge:
- Educated to an HND or equivalent qualification in a computer-related field
- Minimum 3 years IT support experience in a similar role
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience of Microsoft applications 2016, Office 365
- Experience of Windows 10/11
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy & Azure
- Experience with Windows Server 2019
- Experience with Windows RDS Server
- Experience of Backup Software & Procedures
- Experience of Antivirus Software & Management
- Experience with Exchange 2016 & Exchange Online
- Experience with Mobile technologies & Mobile Device Management
- Experience LAN & WAN technologies
In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, problem solving skills and be able to communicate to non-IT staff in non technical terms. Since this role involves multiple locations, having a driver's license and access to a car is essential.
