Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our welcoming partner Primary Schools in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and keen to be part of a nurturing and inclusive school community.
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation
* Supporting the development of pupils' literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
* Helping children build confidence and develop positive learning behaviours
* Contributing to the creation of a calm and engaging classroom environment
* Has a genuine interest in primary education and child development
* Ideally has experience supporting children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
* Is proactive, enthusiastic, and able to use their initiative
* Understands the importance of patience and empathy when working with children
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
