Vacancy Details
Location: Newark
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, covering days, nights, and weekends, 06:30 - 18:30 / 18:30 - 06:30
Hourly Rate: £12.81
Hours: 48 hours/week
Main Responsibilities
* Access Control: Gatehouse and reception duties, assisting visitors, identifying security threats, and escalating issues.
* Loss Prevention: Conducting searches in line with company policy.
* Site Patrols: External and internal to deter crime.
* Collaboration: Working with clients on risk assessment and CCTV review for stock loss investigations.
* Liaison: Coordinating with management and authorities as needed.
* Reporting: Using tablets/phones for incident and activity reports.
* Compliance: Adhering to health & safety, equal opportunities, and company policies.
Effective communication skills are essential for providing detailed verbal and written reports. Patience, professionalism, and conflict resolution skills are necessary. Prior gatehouse experience is advantageous but not required, as training is provided. A valid SIA license is mandatory.
