About the team and the role
The Customer Acquisition team owns the UI and suite of backend services that power the Utility Warehouse customer signup journey, the mission-critical sales funnel that will enable the company to meet its goal of reaching over a million households with its unique and market-beating multi-service product in the next few years.
The Customer Acquisition team is part of the Growth group – which is responsible for all engineering development related to customer growth – within UW’s engineering department.
You’ll play a big part in the implementation of a new quoting application which will ultimately replace the existing web app responsible for our signup journey.
What you’ll do
* Maintain, enhance and deploy changes to the existing quoting application and backend APIs, particularly using React with TypeScript on the frontend and GraphQL & Go on the backend.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product owners, and other software engineers.
* Ensure a high standard of quality in the code you write and the features you deploy.
About You

You should excel in communication, interpersonal skills and fostering teamwork. A strong drive for learning and personal growth is essential, along with a genuine desire to support and mentor junior engineers.
