Are you looking for a reliable role with great hours and a friendly team? We’re working with a busy timber company who are looking for timber yard operatives to join their team immediately on a temp to perm basis.
As a Timber Yard Operative, you’ll be supporting the team with:
•Loading and unloading timber deliveries
•Sorting, stacking and organising timber products
•Assisting with timber processing and general yard duties
•Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe at all times
•Supporting the team with basic manual handling tasks
No previous timber experience is necessary — full training will be provided. However, we’re looking for candidates who:
•Are reliable and punctual
•Are physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
•Can work well as part of a team
•Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
•Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
