Location for training 4-6 weeks: Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 1JY, Birmingham all expenses for travel/accommodation paid
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: Temporary role, 9 months
Salary: £12.51 per hour

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing professional, high-quality, and customer-focused service. You will be responsible for promptly and politely handling all internal and external inquiries via phone calls, emails, voice-mails, and texts, across a diverse range of topics.
You will also play a pivotal role in a new system role out, training in Coleshill will ensure you are a subject matter expert for the ‘align’ project to then be able to teach others when heading back to Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly and professionally responding to all inquiries within agreed timescales and service standards.
* Strive for First Contact Resolution by efficiently resolving inquiries and transactions without the need for escalation whenever possible.
* Manage fluctuations in workload associated with housing-related inquiries effectively.
* Accurately input information into computer systems to maintain records and facilitate smooth operations.
* Meet and exceed targeted performance metrics for customer service delivery.
* Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing service delivery.
* Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve individual and collective performance.
* Complete outbound activities in alignment with team objectives.
* Adhere to relevant company policies and procedures.
* Perform any additional duties as directed by the Team Manager or Customer Contact Manager.
About You:
* Demonstrated proficiency in numeracy and literacy, either through work experience or qualifications (equivalent to GCSE pass in English and Mathematics).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
* Strong customer care and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in customer service-focused roles, preferably in face-to-face or telephone environments.
* Basic understanding of Contact Centre processes and telephone systems.
* Familiarity with housing management and services is desirable.
