What to Expect Working full‑time Monday to Friday, you'll join a supportive Engineering team where you'll use your experience to maintain, fault‑find and improve a wide range of plant and production equipment. You'll be a key part of ensuring smooth daily operations while also contributing to ongoing improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance across the site, including reactive, planned and improvement work Work safely and in line with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures Communicate effectively with team members and other departments Work on plant equipment, process machinery, PLCs and drive systems Support installation work (3‑phase, single‑phase, containment, and network cabling) Assist with project-based tasks linked to site investment Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Support and mentor apprentices where required Requirements - Essential City & Guilds or SVQ Level 3 (Electrical) Experience in an industrial environment after qualification Basic understanding of ventilation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach Knowledge of electrical control and drive systems Ability to read and update electrical schematics Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams Experience with PLC logic, programming and diagnostics - preferred but not essential Experience with industrial robotics Knowledge of plant safety systems and interlocks 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Understanding of Beckhoff or other PLC systems (training can be provided) If you would like to have a confidential chat about this fantastic opportunity, please get in touch today.
