Job description
1. Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
2. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
3. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and activities to meet pupil needs.
4. Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
5. Foster positive relationships with pupils to support their social and emotional development.
6. Promote an inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and respect.
7. Support pupils during transitions, break times, and any off-site activities if required.
Desirable Criteria:
8. Relevant qualifications ( Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE, or similar).
9. Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training.
10. Experience working with specific needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH.
11. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
