Role Purpose
The Business Analyst will act as the critical link between business challenges and solutions, enabling effective change across Baxi. This role is responsible for capturing business needs, analysing, re-designing processes and shaping solutions, and supporting the implementation of change in a structured, people-centred way. You will work across business units to enable transformation that supports strategic goals, enhances performance, and improves customer and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
* Work with stakeholders to understand and capture business problems, opportunities, and improvement needs.
* Translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation (e.g. user stories, process maps, business cases).
* Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and improvement areas through workshops, interviews, and data analysis.
* Research best practise and competitor approaches, and perform gap analysis.
* Design processes that are focused on adding value and minimising waste
2. Implementation Support
* Partner with Project Managers and Transformation Leads to ensure business requirements are reflected in solutions.
* Track the readiness of people, processes, and systems for change implementation.
* Monitor adoption, identify resistance, and support mitigation actions to ensure change is sustained.
* Contribute to the maturity of Baxi’s business analysis and continuous improvement capability, by engaging and mentoring others in the wider team
* Champion a culture of change, agility, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a transformation, digital or process improvement environment.
* Strong understanding of business analysis techniques (e.g., process modelling, requirements elicitation).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to influence and build trust across all levels.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Working knowledge of change management frameworks and practical experience applying them. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, APMG, ACMP).
* Experience in sales, or utilities environments.
* Familiarity with project delivery frameworks such as Agile, Prince2, or Lean Six Sigma.
* Comfortable using digital tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar.
