Finance Assistant - Cheadle - Permanent - up to £33,000 DOE
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Cheadle who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small and dynamic team. This role will see you working Monday - Friday on a full time basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is confident liaising with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Duties include:
* Responsible for managing both the purchase and sales ledger function
* Bank and credit card reconciliation
* Cashbook postings
* Maintaining asset register
* Analysis of past and future event projects
* Managing accruals and pre-payments of projects
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Liaising with auditors and external parties
As this will be a stand alone role, they are looking for someone who has is able to work at pace, manage their workload whilst working to tight deadlines. You will have worked within a similar role previously.
