Overview
We are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with a prestigious Mitie client to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment on Critical National Infrastructure site.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates along with reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required.
* Ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recorded on the CAFM system.
* Assist with general building maintenance activities as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent, 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
* Experience using a range of maintenance equipment; IPAF 3A & 3B desirable but not essential.
* Basic mechanical knowledge; building Statutory Compliance knowledge.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings; good problem-solving and decision-making skills; effective verbal and written communication.
* Must maintain a safe working environment per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Role details
* Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off; 2 days, 2 nights, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
* Location: Coventry/West Midlands area, on Critical National Infrastructure site.
Desirable Skills
* BMS knowledge.
* Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to defined criteria.
* Experience in a critical environment/data centre.
