Park Recruit are working with a well-established and growing electrical contracting business operating across the commercial, industrial and education sectors, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join its senior delivery team. This is a key role overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multiple electrical projects, working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors and senior management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Projects are based in NI & England, so travel will be required. This is an additional role due to increased business requirements. The Role As Electrical Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring technical excellence, commercial control and strong client relationships throughout. Key responsibilities include: Full lifecycle management of electrical projects from tender to completion Programme planning, progress tracking and reporting Budget management, cost control and financial reporting Procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors Managing variations, change control and final accounts Client liaison, progress meetings and technical coordination Managing and supporting site supervisors, electricians and subcontractors Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, and industry standards Conducting site visits, audits and toolbox talks Technical & Professional Requirements: You will bring strong technical knowledge and proven leadership experience within electrical contracting: Sound understanding of electrical design, drawings and specifications Experience with testing, inspection and commissioning Knowledge of LV systems, emergency lighting and fire alarms Strong working knowledge of BS 7671, NICEIC standards and CDM regulations Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, main contractors and suppliers Person Requirements: Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) ECS / CSCS card at supervisory or managerial level 5+ years experience within electrical contracting Proven experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen Confident client-facing communicator Organised, decisive and calm under pressure SMSTS or SSSTS qualification (preferred) Whats on Offer: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience 30 days annual leave Company pension scheme Health cash plan (dental, optical, physio and more) Additional leave linked to length of service Long-term career progression within a stable and growing contractor Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am 5:00pm Friday: 8:30am 2:30pm Benefits: Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care annual leave Company Vehicle
