Key Responsibilities
* Part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the service manager to deliver high-quality clinical services
* Develop and maintain integrated pathways for individuals requiring treatment for health issues related to addiction
* Implement and oversee immunisation and vaccination programmes to combat blood-borne viruses, providing guidance to professionals managing drug and alcohol-related issues
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance and national guidelines
* Contribute to audits and improvement of clinical standards and practices
* Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, promoting clinical services
* Lead the clinical aspects of new developments and provide direction to the nursing team
* Support team learning and development, fostering a culture of shared good practice
* Assist in implementing policies and managing risks to ensure efficient and safe service delivery
* Collaborate with the lead doctor to plan and implement individual treatment programmes
