We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in identifying and acquiring new customers, driving revenue and gross profit growth, and expanding our market presence in our Channel Services Division. This is a unique opportunity to build a new business line, leveraging our market leading engineering model and strong channel relationships.
This role can be completed in a hybrid way, spending 2 days a week in our Milton Keynes, Solihull, Dudley or London offices, or with our UK based clients.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and win large-scale, multi-site hardware maintenance contracts through the channel.
* The Business Development Manager will target organisations with estates of endpoint technology requiring engineer on site break fix, installation and professional services.
* Sell third party maintenance and services contracts, leveraging existing channel relationships and building new relationships.
* Build and own the go-to-market proposition for the project services- channel sales division.
* Leverage professional networks, industry events, and online platforms to connect with prospective clients and generate leads.
* Leverage expertise in selling bespoke hardware services and support services to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective clients, understanding their business needs and articulating how our solutions can meet those needs.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that address client challenges, showcase our expertise and ultimately win new business.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts, report on sales activities, and provide insights to the leadership team on market opportunities and challenges.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the technology sector (focus on hardware support services, cradle to grave).
* Experience selling maintenance/ services via the channel or MSP's.
* Experience with endpoint technology.
* Track record of winning large, multi-site maintenance/ support contracts.
* Experience in engineer-led, channel-led services environments.
* Experience selling large scale change projects into the retail and leisure sectors.
* Desired experience with selling in store technology services and implementation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
