This post is suitable for a more experienced teacher who ispassionate about delivering the highest quality in Physical Education. We areseeking to appoint a teacher who will support and drive the ethos of thedepartment and the wider school community. The successful candidate would beexpected to contribute to the teaching and development of PE across the wholeage and ability range, including examination groups at Key Stage 4 and/or 5. Acommitment to support the extracurricular sport programme is also integral tothe role.
The PE department has seven specialist teachers, all of whom arerequired to teach a range of curriculum sports within the Games programme atKey Stages 3 and 4, and enrichment at Key Stage 5. GCSE and A-Level PE aredelivered based upon subject specialisms. The staff within the departmentpromote and deliver a high level of extracurricular provision. Students at theschool compete at District, Regional and National levels of competition in arange of sporting activities.
