Solution Sales Director – IoT & Digital Engineering
A global leader in digital transformation is seeking a highly driven Solution Sales Director to lead consulting sales and strategic solutioning initiatives in the fast-evolving domain of IoT and Digital Engineering. About the role
As Solution Sales Director, you will take ownership of growing the IoT and Digital Engineering business within the UK. This involves identifying and securing new clients, growing existing relationships, and shaping high-value digital transformation engagements. Working closely with senior stakeholders across sales, technology, and delivery, you’ll define and implement strategies that position the company as a trusted transformation partner across Discrete and Process industries.
You’ll lead from the front in crafting compelling value propositions, influencing C-suite decision-makers, and driving market visibility through thought leadership and partnerships.
Key responsibilities
* Lead strategic consulting sales and solution development across IoT & Digital Engineering offerings
* Identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities within target industries
* Cross-sell and up-sell advanced solutions to existing clients
* Collaborate across internal teams and technology partners to deliver end-to-end solutions
* Shape large-scale transformation deals and articulate business value to senior executives
* Drive visibility through thought leadership, campaigns, and external engagements
* Report directly to the Geo Sales Head and align with broader sales and growth strategy
Key skills required
* Strong consulting sales or pre-sales background in IoT and Digital Engineering
* Track record in shaping large, complex deals and delivering measurable outcomes
* Ability to engage and influence C-suite and Director-level stakeholders
* Deep understanding of Edge computing, Hyperscalers, IT/OT integration, and digital threads
* Experience in Discrete and Process manufacturing environments
Desirable
* Proven success working within global IT consultancies or large system integrators
* Exposure to UK&I client landscape and enterprise-level digital transformations
Salary: £100,000 – £115,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits
Location: London (preffered, other locations considered)
Working Model: Hybrid/UK-wide client travel
