Residential Children's Home Team Leader
Hourly rate: £ £15 per hour, depending on experience.
Full time will include a mixture of the following shifts 8am until 8pm (day shift)
8pm until 8pm (night shift)
8am until 8am next day (8:00-22:30 on shift, 22:30 – 7:00 Sleep) – Sleeps paid

We are currently recruiting for a Children's Home Team Leader for our residential provision and are looking for someone to join our team that has a genuine passion for working with children and young people with various complex needs. A Team Leader that wants to empower our children and young people to enjoy, achieve, and live their best lives.
We work with vulnerable children with a range of needs, so we need someone empathetic, passionate and driven to make an impact.
So what does the role involve?
On a daily basis you will be;
· Ensuring Support Workers are meeting the needs of children in accordance with their care plans
· Ensuring the home's ethos is embedded in the shifts and that children are involved in the day-to-day running of the service
· Ensuring all needs of the children are met
· Overseeing safeguarding
· Completing risk assessments and ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
· Ensuring children access services that meet their education, social, emotional, mental health, and well-being needs
· Planning and delivering the service and its programs to meet the needs of children
· Ensuring care planning, key working, safeguarding, incidents, health, education and activities recording is completed in the required timeframe and to the required standard.
· Ensuring that Care Reviews Reports are prepared in advance and that Children are prepared and supported during the process.
· Leading on Missing persons procedures, ensuring that detailed logs are kept and that all communications are recorded.
About you:
· You'll have relevant experience of working in a residential setting with children.
· Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Young People's Services; or equivalent is a must
· A commitment to continuing professional development.
· Ideally you will have a full UK driving license
