Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
We are looking for a motivated and design focused Part II Architectural Assistant to join our client’s growing team in Birmingham.
The Role:
As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will support the design and delivery of residential led schemes, from early concept stages through to planning.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of concept designs, layouts, and masterplans
* Prepare high-quality drawings, visuals, and presentation material
* Support the preparation of planning applications and supporting documents
* Work collaboratively with architects, urban designers, and consultants
* Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and research
* Contribute to design reviews and client presentations
* Use software such as AutoCAD / Revit
Requirements:
* RIBA Part II qualification
* Experience working on housing and/or master planning projects
* Strong design, layout, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit
* Good understanding of UK planning policy and residential design principles
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
