Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.

What You Will Get To Do:
* As a full-stack developer, work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality software solutions to meet clients Illustration and Tooling needs.
* Opportunity to develop product solutions and product enhancements to meet as well as input into the future product roadmap to ensure we continue to grow our offering.

What You Will Bring:
* Experience in software technical architecture design and coding practices
* Able to translate a set of requirements to a software solution in precise detail
o Extensive experience in the writing, reviewing and tracing code
o Proven track record of developing efficient and legible code
o Experience in some or all of vb.net, C#, asp.net, xml, json, webservices, XSLT, HTML and SQL Server
o Creating programmable logic from regulations, statutory rules or calculation specification logic
o Testing (Code Peer Reviews and independent testing) & investigating reported errors and discrepancies
* Excellent communication, problem solving skills and experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary change projects/multi-disciplinary team
* Experience being able to manage a complex workload and prioritise to meet project deadlines
* Experience in server management (Windows & Cloud) and security best practice
* Experience in designing and managing IT controls (highly desirable)
* Excellent knowledge of UK life and pensions products and regulation (desirable)
