Hours: 40 hours per week.
About the role:
The Outlet supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily outlet operations, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff, and achieving sales and operational targets. The role involves maintaining standards, managing stock, and supporting the outlet manager.
People: Manage all People related matters in a professional and positive manner.
Sales and Revenue Performance: Achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Improvement in and average transaction value. Effective execution of promotions and seasonal events. Upselling and cross selling products.. Upskilling general assistants to promote products. Ordering stock from Lynas. Ordering from direct suppliers. Reduce waste by ordering correctly. Promote stock rotation.
Customer Experience: Consistent delivery of excellent customer service. Customer satisfaction and feedback. Effective handling and resolution of customer complaints. Maintaining repeat customers. Helping customers to get what they need and advise on products we offer.
Team management and productivity: Staff punctuality, attendance, and shift coverage. Productivity of staff members. Coaching, training, and development of team members. Staff engagement and retention. Motivation of team. Promote positive working environment. Escalate issues to relevant person. Complete comms from head office and management in timely and correct way.
Health, Safety & Food Safety: Enforce PPE, safety & food safety standards.. HACCP and chemical control. Always maintain hygiene compliance. Temperature checks completed. Due diligence completed. Minimise safety risks by ensuring good tidiness. Ensure teamwork safely. Fire safety and first aid.
Stock Control: Stock accuracy and cycle count results. Control of shrinkage, damages, and losses. Proper stock handling, receiving, and replenishment.
Cash Handling & POS Accuracy: Accuracy in till sheets. Counting safe. Counting floats. Pivitol. Ordering coin. Checking POS is correct. Replacing missing or incorrect sel's.
Qualifications and Experience:
* GCSE Maths & English (Essential)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in retail. (Essential)
* Business or Customer Service qualification
* At least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
* Basic IT skills (POS systems, stock management, reporting tools)
