Job Description:
Carry out repair and maintenance on cold end equipment and contribute to efficient job changes. Liaise with the cold end engineering manager daily and react to any cold end issues that may arise throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the cold end engineering manager daily and react to any cold end issues that may arise throughout the day.
* Attend weekly TPM meetings to reduce cold end downtime.
* Lead morning meetings to ensure the change team engineers are aware of daily expectations and job changes.
* Prepare cold end equipment for the next job change to meet specifications.
* Participate in job changes, setting up and adjusting cold end equipment as needed.
* Identify and rectify cold end faults to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Modify and adjust cold end equipment to maintain operations and minimize downtime.
* Complete job change sheets for accurate documentation.
* Communicate effectively with team members to maintain an informed and effective team.
* Adhere to health and safety practices and follow risk assessments.
Required skills / qualifications:
* Experienced Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer
* Familiarity with relevant computer systems
* Knowledge of cold end equipment faults
* Understanding of engineering drawings
* Experience in job change planning and continuous improvements
* Ability to manage a team and report to the Cold End Engineering Manager
