About the Role
Year 6 is a pivotal year — one that requires expertise, consistency, and high expectations. You will:
* Teach a knowledge-rich curriculum across all subjects with precision and ambition
* Adapt and refine teaching based on formative and summative assessment
* Work flexibly and respond to the rhythm of the year with calm and clarity
* Collaborate with national curriculum leaders and highly experienced colleagues
* Develop a strong understanding of the KS2 SATs and the Key Stage 2 curriculum — including how knowledge and skills build across the key stage
* Access meaningful leadership opportunities as you grow and thrive within the school
Experience in upper Key Stage 2 would be helpful — but it’s not essential. What is essential is a willingness to learn fast, reflect often, and teach with intent.
