SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide specialised tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student Implement effective teaching strategies to support SEN students in their academic progress Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for SEN students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with SEN students Strong understanding of SEN educational strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practises Organisational skills and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Experience working in a school setting with SEN students Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring to SEN students in Oxfordshire. The tutor will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the academic progress of SEN students.
