SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1)
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next rewarding challenge? We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a highly regarded additional resource provision based in Barnet. This leading provision, guided by an award-winning SEN lead, supports around 20 autistic children across two nurturing classrooms.
Starting in June 2025, the successful SEN Teacher will receive a thorough handover before the current class teacher begins maternity leave. The role will involve full teaching responsibility and the opportunity to work within a talented and supportive team.
The children, primarily working on Early Learning Goals, require a teacher who is confident, patient, and skilled at supporting a wide range of needs. One child has significant regulation challenges and is supported 1:1. Experience with SEND, strong communication skills, and a commitment to personal care responsibilities are essential.
The ideal SEN Teacher will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK
• Have experience working with SEND children, ideally within EYFS or KS1
• Be confident with technology and communication tools such as Widget
• Be professional, compassionate, and able to manage and inspire two teaching assistants
• Demonstrate resilience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude
In return, you will join a warm, professional environment where your expertise is valued, and your career development is supported.
