Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting in the Midlands region for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor, who ideally will have experience working across a range of client sites. You will be joining a well-respected Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who have a stronghold in the Midlands. It would be advantageous to have hands-on water hygiene / plumbing experience, but this is not essential. You will be travelling across: Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Marston Green, Solihull, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Droitwich Spa, Halesowen, Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Stafford, Penkridge, Leicester, Hinckley, Loughborough, Coalville, Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good client-facing skills
- Good grasp of literacy, numeracy and IT
- Professional attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems across commercial, domestic, public sector and healthcare sites
- Producing detailed reports to advise on raised issues and recommendations
- Meeting with clients to discuss findings
- Adhering to strict compliance guidelines
- Working to agreed targets and deadlines
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring when required
- Liaising directly with clients to access sites
