Major Account Director – Service Provider, Telco, MVNO, Cloud, Core Network, UK
My client is an established Network & Cloud vendor investing in their European operations due to market opportunities. They want to onboard a Major Account Director based in the UK. This person should have extensive experience in building value within the Service Provider space.
Responsibilities
1. Drive new revenue opportunities across the UK.
2. Engage with prospects and clients, build pipelines across various opportunities, and manage multiple complex sales processes.
3. Forecast accurately and close new customers.
4. Articulate the value of Cloud solutions compared to competitors.
5. Manage the overall territory and go-to-market plan.
6. Manage the territory as a business, including customers, prospects, customer relationship managers, business development, marketing, and partners.
7. Build deeper, strategic, and sustainable relationships with existing customers.
Requirements
1. Minimum 10 years of solutions-based sales experience within the Service Provider space.
2. Extensive experience in solutions-based sales with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
3. Proven success in managing and negotiating large deals.
4. Strong understanding of Fixed & Mobile Networks, Analytics, Customer Experience, including Policy management.
5. Preference for deep existing relationships within Tier 1 Mobile and Fixed Operators, especially Vodafone/3 in the UK.
6. Ability to articulate complex value propositions to customers, including executive leaders.
