Role: 400kV Commissioning Engineer
Location: Hull and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extensions
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 12 Hour Days
Rates: Up to £800 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella (Travel & Accommodation Provided)
Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee commissioning activities from PC ensuring all commissioning is completed on schedule.
2. Engage with stakeholders in regular joint commissioning meetings.
3. Deal with the ESO when requiring EON/ION.
4. Work with the completions department to ensure the correct flow from construction to commission takes place.
5. Apply commissioning protection settings to the circuit during the commissioning phase and restore afterwards.
6. Ability to fault find on protection circuits including interrogation of relays.
7. Create Commissioning switching programs/schedules to ensure all aspects of commissioning are captured.
8. Provide weekly reports to management.
Requirements:
* Full UK Working Rights
* Experience Commissioning at 400kV
* Proven experience as Lead Commissioning engineer.
* Experience working within Transmission substations.
* Previous experience dealing with NG ESO / NGET.
* NG Persons authorization would be beneficial.
* Comfortable at leading a Team through the commissioning phase of the project.
