Job overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Theatre Practitioners to work in Ormskirk and Southport Hospitals. If you are keen to add to your existing theatre knowledge and are committed to developing and enhancing the quality of care provided in the Operating Theatre environment, this is the opportunity for you. The department provides 24-hour emergency cover, therefore shift work, weekends, and on-call commitment will be required.
Please note that the job description is subject to change as per AfC review. An Enhanced DBS with barred lists for both Adults & Children is required for this post.
Main duties of the job
* To support the development of clinical teams by creating a learning environment in which individuals’ performance is reviewed.
* To support the delegation of work within the team and review performance.
* To work with and on behalf of the Theatre Team Leader, managing key operational aspects of theatres and providing support and advice on all matters.
* To establish excellent working relationships with all service users and actively encourage and promote joint working in the pursuit of continuous service improvement.
