Who We Are: Casa Cruz is an intimate, warm, and elegant neighbourhood restaurant nestled in the leafy streets of Londons Notting Hill. Spread across two handsomely designed floors and a charming roof terrace, our core philosophy is to be a home-away-from-home for all.
Dating back to the early Victorian era, our building was originally a pub popular with passing tradespeople. Architecturally, it retains many of its original detailsincluding the tall, dual-aspect window cornices and surrounds on the upper floors, which survived the Blitz.
The Role: As Sous Chef, you will be a vital part of our kitchen leadership team, supporting the Head Chef in all areas of kitchen management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
Train and guide junior chefs
Maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
Manage stock control, food cost margins, and waste reduction
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food hygiene standards
Lead and motivate the team during peak service hours
What Were Looking For: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end, fast-paced kitchen
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Passion for food, hospitality, and detail-oriented execution
Solid knowledge of kitchen operations and HACCP principles
