Responsibilities
* As a PCSO you'll work closely with communities to promote community safety and confidence. You will work alongside police officers, special constables and partner agencies and within the different roles, actively seek information and intelligence around criminal activity and/or vulnerability in the communities you serve.
Compensation and Working Pattern
* Starting salary: £27,204 with annual increments up to a maximum of £32,613.
* Full-time PCSO contracts include a 37-hour working week with a 6 on / 3 off shift pattern of early and late shifts covering 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days per week.
* A 12.5% shift allowance and weekend working enhancements are payable.

Eligibility
* This post is open to British Citizens, members of the EC or other states in the European Economic Area, Commonwealth citizens and foreign nationals.
* You must be a resident in the UK with indefinite leave to remain and work, free of restrictions.
* All applicants must have lived in the UK continuously for the past three years, unless serving for the British Army or conducting Government work.
