What you’ll be doing : D efine functionality and manage key configuration of existing and new core system software applications, ensuring they are fit for purpose while maintaining systems integrity and security You will be required to: • Deliver core systems functionality to meet the commercial requirements of the UK businesses Provide functional support to the technical and business analysis teams during proof of concept, system design and implementation project phases. Steer the design and configuration of core trading and finance applications to produce solution s Work with business representatives to interpret business requirements into functional specifications that facilitate 3 rd party suppliers to deliver effective solutions Work with internal and external Quality Assurance departments to ensure software is thoroughly tested and of requisite quality prior to live release Build and maintain strong relationships with technical colleagues, business contacts and 3 rd party software and service providers Become a skilled and knowledgeable systems expert in order to assist the business commercially and to facilitate the resolution of systems issues Ensuring work is correctly prioritised and actioned to meet project deliverables, business expectations and agreed deadlines Propose functional efficiencies that will improve application functionality, security and integrity W hat you ’ll need to have: Exposure to agile delivery methods including Scrum and Kanban Experience dealing with third party software development, test and maintenance suppliers Systems analysis and system testing skills Experience of the technical aspects solution delivery including programming, scripting, database querying, etc. Knowledge of the core and ancillary systems developed and licensed by Kerridge Commercial Systems Process management / process design and workflow experience Experience of working with data files and interfaces to a detailed level Report design and production experience What’s in it for you: Discretionary bonus A wide range of voluntary benefits including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, car salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle2Work, Benenden Healthcare and more.
