Nursing Associate – Neuro Rehabilitation
London, The Wellington Hospital
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Rotational days, nights and weekends. Permanent contract. Salary: Competitive plus 9% shift allowance.
We’re looking for a Nursing Associate to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at The Wellington Hospital. As the largest private hospital in the UK, we support people with a wide range of neurological conditions. Our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward is known for its close knit team who work together to provide thoughtful, structured rehabilitation and compassionate care.
As a Nursing Associate in the Neuro Rehabilitation Ward, you’ll support people living with complex neurological needs. You’ll work alongside experienced nurses, therapists and wider colleagues, all focused on helping every person reach their potential. Day to day you’ll play an active part in delivering safe, person centred care. You’ll monitor and record observations, support wound care, help people manage their daily activities and spend time communicating with them about their progress. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team who value shared learning and close teamwork.
What You’ll Do
* Support people with neurological conditions through their rehabilitation journey
* Monitor, record and report changes in physical and emotional wellbeing
* Carry out delegated clinical tasks including wound care and observations
* Deliver person centred care in line with individual treatment plans
* Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective care
What You’ll Bring
* NMC Nursing Associate registration
* Level five Nursing Associate foundation degree or equivalent
* Significant experience working as a Nursing Associate in a hospital setting
* Experience caring for people in neuro, rehabilitation, medical or critical care environments
* A collaborative approach and confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team
