You must also have a full UK driving license and own vehicle due to the location.Benefits Pension (5% matched) 24 days holiday Salary reviews Life cover Tool allowance Overtime Structured shift pattern with consistent rotation Shift Pattern You’ll be part of a 4-team rotating shift pattern, working: 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm / 8pm–8am) 2 weeks on days, followed by 2 weeks on nights 3 Engineers per shift, with additional day-based electrical support Key Responsibilities Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance Supporting continuous improvement across plant performance and reliability Working on a wide range of production machinery and site infrastructure Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and reporting Collaborating with the wider engineering team to minimise downtime About You We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Mechanical Engineer who can work confidently in a demanding production environment.You will have: Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Strong skills in TIG welding, lathes, and milling machines Solid understanding of bearings, chains, sprockets, and taper locks Experience within a manufacturing or heavy plant environment (food/meat sector advantageous) Knowledge of machinery, maintenance practices, and compliance standards Interested?
