SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Location: London
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + up to two paid memberships of professional institutions
Benefits: 26 days annual leave - flexible working hours
If you are a Senior Structural Engineer looking for a new role with the opportunity to work on prestigious projects, then this is the one for you! The medium-sized consultancy is looking to bring on a Senior Structural Engineer who is either chartered or near-chartered to join their team of progressive engineers. They are an award-winning consultancy based in London.
Projects they typically work on include:
1. Commercial
2. Retail
3. Mixed-use
4. Residential developments from £30m to £80m
If you are at an Intermediate or Senior level, with an interest in sustainable design, this is a really exciting opportunity for you. You will have the opportunity to work on large international projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing written reports and tender specifications
2. Representing the company at various design team and site meetings
3. Mentoring graduate/junior engineers to support the growth and development of the team
4. Client-facing interactions
5. Technical delivery, project management, and team leadership
Key requirements:
1. Eligibility to work in the UK
2. Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience
3. Chartered (or near-chartered) Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE)
4. A client-focused approach with effective time-management skills
