Responsibilities

TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.

Join our team as a Business Developer, where you'll lead our efforts to grow our platform in the fashion industry. Your role involves finding, convincing new clients to join us and building their strategy for success on the platform. Your background prepares you for the fast-paced environment, where you'll take charge of ambitious goals for getting new clients, adding products to our platform, and growing their TikTok revenue.

You'll use your persuasive skills to explain the benefits of our platform to clients and help them get started smoothly. You'll use your critical thinking & collaboration skills to develop the right strategy for their success. Your ability to bounce back from setbacks and consistently meet targets is crucial as you work to grow our business. The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development and/or Account Management and possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be target-driven, resilient and collaborative. Operating in a fast-moving environment you will work autonomously, taking full responsibility and ownership for hitting business OKRs.

* Find new potential clients through research, networking, and focused outreach.
* Craft persuasive pitches that address the needs of potential clients and highlight the benefits of our platform.
* Guide clients through the process of joining our platform and address any concerns they have.
* Assist clients in setting up their accounts accurately and completely.
* Help identify and define the success strategy for the brand on TikTok, leveraging platform knowledge and strategic thinking
* Collaborate with and drive the client to earning significant revenue on the platform over a 3-6 month period.
* Achieve monthly goals for acquiring new clients, adding products, and increasing sales.
* Collaborate closely with other teams to improve processes, enhance the client experience, and grow the business.
* Understand our products, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proficient in handling objections and learning new platforms or products quickly.
* Experience in e-commerce.
* Experience achieving results with external stakeholders.
* Experience with sales cycles & overcoming objections.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated examples of building processes from scratch.
* Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
* UK market experience.
* CRM and outreach tool knowledge.
