Job Description
As a Test Engineer in Banjotech, you'll work within a multi-skilled agile team, developing and executing functional automated and manual tests to help the team deliver working application software that meets user needs. You'll do this whilst learning about new technologies and approaches, with talented colleagues who will help you learn, develop and grow.
What you'll do:
* The Test Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
* Work closely with software developers, analysts, and product teams to validate functionality and performance
* Contribute to the testing of systems that detect market abuse and ensure regulatory compliance - systems which will be deployed globally in a business of over 6000 across multiple geographies.
What we're looking for:
* You'll have a solid background in software testing, specifically within financial services or fintech product environments.
* You'll have solid experience in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
* Strong understanding of software QA methodologies
* Exposure to financial services, ideally having tested systems and applications used for financial compliance; trade surveillance systems, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and regulatory monitoring applications.
* A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for breaking things
Location:
* This role may either be based at a multi-client delivery center or at client sites for extended periods as required.

Pay: £34,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
