About the role
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Director of Housekeeping to lead our exceptional housekeeping team. As a key member of the hotel's leadership, you will ensure that all guest rooms, suites, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are maintained to the highest Four Seasons standards of luxury, cleanliness and presentation. You will oversee all housekeeping operations, drive service excellence, manage departmental budgets, and cultivate a supportive, motivating environment that empowers your team to deliver flawless guest experiences every day.
What you will do
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire housekeeping department, ensuring world‑class standards across all areas of the hotel.
* Oversee staffing, training, development and performance management for the housekeeping team.
* Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, labour planning and inventory management effectively.
* Drive continuous improvement through operational planning, process optimisation and quality checks.
* Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Spa and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
* Uphold Four Seasons brand standards and service expectations at all times.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
* Address guest feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and personalised service.
* Lead by example, fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
What you will bring
* Previous experience as a Director of Housekeeping or Assistant Director within a luxury hotel environment.
* Strong leadership abilities with a passion for developing, motivating and inspiring large teams.
* Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
* Proven financial acumen with experience managing budgets and productivity targets.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
