Role Overview The Assistant Technical Manager supports the Technical Department in ensuring that all products, processes, and systems fully comply with food safety legislation, customer requirements, BRCGS standards, and recognised industry standards. The role is designed to provide day-to-day technical support to the Technical Manager and to step into the role during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of technical leadership and operational compliance across the site. The position provides support across compliance, audit readiness, internal audits, GMP standards, food safety systems, and regulatory activities, while driving continuous improvement in food safety, quality, legality, and operational compliance throughout the business.
