Role: Project Manager
Location: Cranfield(3 days in the office / 2 days WFH)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £31.86 PAYE

Our client is a major automotive manufacturer with one of the most productive car plants in Europe, The site produces popular models including hatchbacks and electric vehicles for both the UK and global markets. They play a significant role in the UK automotive sector, supporting thousands of jobs and driving large-scale exports
Key responsibilities :
1. Lead the coordination and schedule alignment with all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with UN-R155
2. Lead progress reports on Cybersecurity topics at management meeting and vehicle milestone meetings.
3. Understanding the capability required for the future and coordinating on the number of people needed to build the team.
4. Lead regular communication and coordination with Legal and Compliance teams.
5. Lead the activity of hearing and communicating from suppliers for information required for Cybersecurity.
6. Lead in resolving issues related to Cybersecurity.
7. Lead to request Cybersecurity requirements at the right time during system development.
8. Keep up to date with the latest trends and features in iOS, Android and Cloud and consider their impact on Cybersecurity
9. Establish the process of Cybersecurity implementation plan
Qualifications, skills, training requirements
10. Experience in developing and/or maintaining IT systems
11. Be able to project manage and discuss with cybersecurity engineers
12. Experience negotiating with certification authorities
13. Understanding of UN-R155, ISO21434
14. Superior project management and organizational skills, PMP or Prince2 is a plus
15. Superior cybersecurity knowledge and understanding of process, CISSP or equivalent is a plus
16. Understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development
17. Competent with tools such as: Jira and Confluence
18. Ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously
19. Be able to travel abroad, typically a few days to 2 weeks, but on rare occasions travel may be long distance and or, at short notice.
20. Engineering or Computer Science Degree qualified
21. 5+ year experience of Project Management in the IT Industry
22. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall processes.
23. Business level of Japanese communication is a plus
