A North Tyneside secondary school is recruiting for a RE Teacher to work from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role, with a high probability of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The School
The school is conveniently located along the metro line.
The Role
You will join a small but supportive department, working closely with the head of RE to deliver Religious Education to KS3. Depending on experience and interest, you may also teach KS4.
This role is suitable for both experienced RE teachers and ECTs. The school is open to applications from non-specialists who can demonstrate experience teaching some elements of RE.
Requirements for the role:
* Hold QTS or equivalent
* Experience of teaching RE
* Have or be willing to apply for a DBS

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but there may be an option to make it permanent later.
