Due to an internal promotion within our Pensions & Treasury Service, we are delighted to advertise this vacancy. Were currently recruiting for a Pensions Engagement & Systems Deputy Team Manager to help administer the Kent Pension Fund, one of the largest Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) in the UK.
What Youll Be Doing:
1. Supporting our Team Manager in leading and coordinating a team of pension professionals.
2. Overseeing the delivery of high-quality pension administration services.
3. Using Altair and iConnect to manage pension communications and messaging.
4. Ensuring compliance with LGPS regulations and delivering excellent customer care to our members and employers.
5. Contributing to key pension projects and continuous service improvements.
6. Supporting our members by providing information about the scheme and its benefits
7. Supporting our employers in their duties regarding the LGPS
What Youll Bring:
8. Solid experience in LGPS administration within a regulatory framework.
9. Strong knowledge of pension calculations and assessments.
10. A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
11. While previous management experience is not essential, leadership potential and team coordination skills are key.
