Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, while also being capable of handling heavy lifting as required.
Duties
* Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
* Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
* Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is required.
* Valid driving licence with maximum 6 points; experience in commercial driving is an advantage.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers.
* Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
* Must be organised, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Payments £110-£120 per day
