Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified professional to gain broad exposure across multiple entities within a growing group, particularly within media/film sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the month-end close process across multiple group companies, ensuring all postings are accurate, complete, and delivered within tight deadlines
* Prepare and process payroll and supplier payment runs for several entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations
* Manage and review staff expenses across the group, ensuring adherence to company policies and timely reimbursement
* Produce and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, providing clear and accurate insight to support business decision-making
* Assist with year-end audits, including responding to auditor queries and preparing supporting documentation
* Support the wider finance team with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and project work as required
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within the finance function
Skills and Experience
* Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA )
* Prior experience working within a multi-entity or group structure
* Exposure to media based accounting environments is highly desirable
* Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
* Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive, adaptable, and keen to contribute to a collaborative team environment
