Teaching Assistant - Neston and surrounding areas
Location: Neston, Cheshire

Salary: £90 - 100 per day (dependent on experience)
Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking Primary Teaching Assistant and 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant candidates to work in welcoming primary schools across the Neston area.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing, particularly those who benefit from additional, personalised support.
The Role:
As a Primary or 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs) and tailored learning strategies
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:
Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
Experience supporting SEN or 1:1 roles
A TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is a bonus
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
