Role Overview
This field‑based, lone‑working role involves installing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring excellent service delivery to customers. The role is primarily Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with some flexibility required. No overnight stays or overnight travel are required.
* Responsible for installing, maintaining, and fault‑finding fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and fire extinguishers.
* Undertake technical challenges and protect people, property and assets.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high professional standards.
* Take ownership of workload, report daily to manager, and operate independently.
Person Specification
* Proven experience working with fire and/or security systems, including installation, maintenance and fault finding of fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and fire extinguishers. (Further training will be provided where required)
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong communication skills, able to interact with customers face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
* A can‑do attitude with customer service as a top priority.
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
* Highly self‑motivated, capable of working independently and delivering work to the highest standards.
* Hard‑working and reliable approach to all tasks.
* Ability to manage workload effectively with minimal supervision.
* Successful applicants will be subject to security screening in accordance with BS7858.
